Red Kite — 

The distinctive bird of prey has become so common in the Yorkshire countryside that it’s part of the landscape - It’s weird to think Red Kites were extinct in England and Scotland for 200 years before they began to be reintroduced in 1989. There are now hundreds in Yorkshire alone.
